Fatal Collision on Trans Canada at Highway 9

A single vehicle collision on Highway 1 under the Highway 9 overpass left one person dead Aug. 20.
RCMP, EMS and Langdon fire responded at 11:30 am to a westbound pickup truck that left the highway, colliding with a light standard before entering the ditch.
The sole occupant of the truck, a 67-year-old male driver from Strathmore pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
