Transit-related construction to begin around Chestermere

Temporary road closures and diversions are expected during construction

Localized construction projects will take place at 12 locations within Chestermere from Aug. 19 to Aug. 28 to prepare for the connection to transit service.

Each of the 12 locations will have signs, bus shelters, concrete sidewalk, and curb upgrades to accommodate buses from Calgary Transit.

Construction will be between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.

Chestermere drivers could experience temporary road closures, and diversions during construction.

Access to driveways, sidewalks, and green spaces could be briefly limited.

Construction noise and street parking restrictions are expected. Signage will be placed in affected areas.
