Celebrating Excellence: Winners of the 2025 Chestermere Chamber of Commerce Business Awards

Anchoring success in our community—here are the local businesses honoured this year by the Chestermere Chamber

The Chestermere Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated its annual Business Awards, shining the spotlight on the companies and individuals that make our local economy vibrant and our community strong. The 2025 winners reflect a diverse cross-section of sectors—from recreation and dining to finance and professional services—each firm demonstrating innovation, service excellence and community commitment.

Highlights from the night
The award for Best Recreation, Leisure or Sport went to Chestermere Boxing Club, recognised not just for the physical activity they promote, but the inclusive culture they’ve built. In the Hair & Beauty category, Beauty in the Burbs claimed the title, affirming their place as a local destination for pampering and personal care.
In real estate, the Best Realtor award went to Michelle Eldjarnson, whose efforts in the Chestermere housing market have earned her strong recognition. A tie awarded for Best in Finance recognised both Michelle Evans of The Place to Mortgage and Isaac Achal, CPA — a rare acknowledgment of excellence across two finance-focused professionals.
National chain recognition went to Browns Socialhouse for Best Chain Restaurant, while the local gem crown of Best Local Dining was awarded to Pho City Chestermere.
In education, Synergy took home Best for Learning, and the mechanics-friendly award of Best Automotive Assistance was captured by Tirecraft (Chestermere).
On the wellness front, Best in Professional Health & Wellness went to Chestermere Mobile Massage. For the pet-loving business community, Pet Planet (Chestermere) earned Best for Pet Care & Service. Meanwhile, marketing and media professionals were celebrated with the award for Best in Media & Marketing, going to Little Lake Locals.
Professional services were honoured too: the law firm Chestermere Law LLP was named Best Professional Services, and for home-service businesses the award went to Chestermere Heating & Cooling under Best Home Services. In retail, the trusted community-pharmacy chain Shoppers Drug Mart was selected as Best Retail Services.
Community-focused businesses also stood out. In a noteworthy move, Synergy clinched a second honour – Best Community Services – showing that their impact extends beyond learning into broader social benefit. Rounding out the gala, the award for Best Customer Service went to Luna Hair Salon, recognising a local business that has excelled in customer care and satisfaction.

What this means for Chestermere
These awards underscore the richness of Chestermere’s business landscape. From grassroots fitness clubs to professional service providers, from dining experiences to home-care specialists, these winners represent the heart of the city’s economic and social fabric. For customers and residents the message is clear: the talents and passions of local operators help define Chestermere as more than just a place to live — but as a community to belong to.
For the recipients, the accolade offers more than just a trophy. It serves as validation of their hard work, an opportunity to amplify their visibility, and a reminder that excellence sets the bar for everyone else. Residents who engage with these businesses can take pride in supporting entities recognised by their peers for service, quality, and community integration.

Looking ahead
As these winners carry their momentum into the remainder of 2025 and beyond, the challenge and opportunity lie in sustaining that excellence. Businesses now have to convert recognition into even better experiences, stronger relationships, and ongoing contributions to Chestermere’s vibrancy. The Chamber’s recognition provides a prompt—but the real work happens day in and day out on Main Street, in studios, on shop floors, in client-meetings and service calls.
Congratulations to all the winners of the 2025 Chestermere Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. Your success is our community’s success.
